Something I Have to Get Off My Chest.

I don't remember why, but my marketing professor showed this picture as part of his powerpoint lesson today:

Awkward

I thought it was awesome, and it has been stuck in my head ever since.  Go marketing class!  I hope this brings some joy -- and maybe even some suppressed laughter in the library -- to your day.  :)

This Weekend...

I was realizing the other day that I haven't wrote on this blog for a really really long time.  So now I am redeeming myself.

This weekend Jeff and I took some huge steps towards our life together - we paid the security deposit for our first house together!  It's done, we are moving in next month.

I took this picture like a stalker, from inside the car.  We are renting the top of this duplex, and it is so cute inside!  I'm really excited for the garden in the back.  :)

Other than that, it was Jeff's birthday on Friday, and I was just about as excited as he was when he got a little remote-controlled helicopter from his parents.

We also started putting together wedding invitations!  I say started because it is going to be quite a process.  Jeff, Laura and I spent close to 4 hours working on them yesterday, and we are only half-way done assembling them.

It's been fun though, and here is a sneak-peek at the invites:

I designed these!  :)  I'm think i'm feeling some shameless pride right now.

Send Chathura Home

The BYU Ad Lab is doing a project for one of their fellow students this Christmas season.  His name is Chathura, and he would love to go home for Christmas. Harry Potter knows -- no one likes spending Christmas alone in a college town.

Please visit sendchathurahome.com to find out more.  It would be so awesome to send him home.  :)

Laughworthy

It's one of those Saturdays.  Most of my friends are at the football game, so I have about three hours to kill doing something random and completely nonessential.  Usually I choose to spend this time watching TV or playing Angry Birds on my phone, but tonight I decided to do something a little different.

I often loose track of all the pictures I have uploaded on my computer.  It's not like I have them on my desktop so I can look at them all the time.  They are scattered in various files, unaccessible unless I am patient enough to click through all those files to find what I need.

But since I have three hours to kill, I decided to do just that.  I clicked on the file titled "All Images" and entered view mode so I could just click the arrow button to get to the next picture.  I highly recommend this to anyone who is tired of working and has time to waste.  It was great to get in that nostalgic mode for a while -- and, might I add, it created refreshing synaptic sequences for a brain that had been preoccupied with homework and errands all day.

Anyways, the point of this story is to reveal this gem I found while clicking through pictures:

That's me and my brother picking up dog poop in our backyard.

Why do I have this picture?  Will the person who took this please raise their hand?  I want to know the reasoning behind this dark humor.

Needless to say, it made me laugh really hard.  And for some strange reason it made me miss my brother a lot.  I can't wait until he gets back from his mission!

I hope whoever reads this is entertained by my highly average life.
